Cozgroove – Time Dealer (Very Rough Mix)
Myself and the Professor have been working on a new project, codenamed “Cozgroove”. Inspired by all things Epic, we are at work on electronic sounds in the studio that try to make even the numb feel again. Unlike some of the studio recordings I work on, electronic music takes a long time. Being able to change everything at the touch of a button makes it hard to decide on a final sound.
With that in mind I thought I would break 2 original tracks out of the laboritry and release these basic mixes (and I mean Basic) into your ears. The First titled “The Stagg” is an ambient piece in the very early stages of life. The second is a track titled “Time Dealer” that we hope to complete soon. Enjoy.

The Green Tease – Volonte Vous
We’ve been back in the studio this week with new Bath based artists ‘The Green Tease’. They bring a hypnotic blend of Jazz and Folk with the singing styles of Rachel Beckwith, and guitar licks of Carl Stevens. The first track features our very own Professor Cozgroove as a radio DJ.
Brother Can You Spare a Dime… For Climate Change?
by Cozgroove on Feb.04, 2009, under Videos
Forgive me for going a bit off on a tangent but seeing as it does apply to all of us, I thought it important to bring up. The Global recession is bound to be the headline of 2009, and in many ways it is justly deserved. The world is changing. Major businesses have collapsed and workers in every sector are feeling the pinch around the world. But there is a bigger problem, that should not be eclipsed by the credit crunch. Climate change is a global problem. It requires nothing less than a united global response to solve it. But much like solving the credit crunch, not everyone can agree on the causes or effects on climate change. Despite evidence of an acceleration in the rise of global temperatures since the start of the fossil fuel burning industrial age, many scientists insist on making various counter claims on climate change. Some claim we are nearing the end of a cycle which will soon result in a new ice age, where as others dispute that fossil fuels have made any effect to global temperatures at all. Scientists must start to agree on the real issues if we are to stop it, but one thing we can be certain of is this. The world is changing, and we need to act now. Investing in clean and renewable energy should be top priority for the worlds economy, creating new jobs, and ensuring a sustainable future, that no longer depends on ever diminishing fossil fuels. Its time to act, before our climate changes beyond repair.
